The Eskimo lived in igloos. You can probably imagine what an igloo looks like but I’m going to tell you anyway. The homes that the Eskimo lived in looked like a half circle with a mini dome for an entrance to the igloo. The small entrance kept out the harsh winds. The igloos were made out of snow or ice blocks. Sometimes the Eskimos put cloth in between the blocks of ice to keep the heat in. The weather in the artic region is very cold, so the igloos had to somehow keep then warm. The igloos provided a shelter and some heat but some heat is better than no heat at all!

Wampanoag house
The wampoags homes looked like big circle domes with big wooden sticks to keep the wigwam up and sturdy. The cloth that the wigwam was made of is normally birch cloth or animal skin and the wooden poles were made of shaved branches. These items were tied together with yarn, grass, and/wheat. The Wampanoag lived in the area we now call Massachusetts. It gets hot in the summer and cold in the winter. The wigwams needed to keep them warm when it was cold and cool when it was warm.
